Lovely in Lace: The return of Bridal’s Most Timeless Trend

Lace has never truly left, but recently it’s making a serious comeback, and not just in the traditional sense. Once reserved for classic gowns and cathedral veils, lace is being reimagined in bold new ways, from modern silhouettes with illusion detailing to soft, romantic overlays that feel effortlessly stylish. There’s something undeniably magical about the way lace adds texture and instantly brings a touch of romance to any look.

In this blog, we’re diving into the many ways you can incorporate this timeless fabric into your own wedding day style.

First up is Kate and Edna, one of our first all-lace gowns to release in the Willow collection. Sweet, flirty, and youthful, the cotton lace lends a bohemian and carefree vibe with a touch of innocence. Paired with matching fitted lace sleeves for a stylish and chic flair, it's a lot easier to go all-out on the lace and commit to the look with the more delicate appearance of the chantilly and cotton lace.

Sporting a different kind of lace, Vogue and Vivian are more regal in appearance. Carefully crafted from thicker Guipure lace, these gowns carry a more dramatic presence, as they are heavier in texture and volume than the smaller, more delicate chantilly lace.

For our more opulent gowns featuring basque waists and Princess skirts, lace adds an extra touch of vintage luxury, vaguely reminiscent of royalty. Featured here are our Eleanor and Faye gowns in all their splendour, a perfect match for our incoming lace veils to be released in our 2026 Atelier Wu collection! Stay tuned for grand cathedral length Mantilla veils and Bohemian lace veils in our next blog~
