Nikki's dream dress by Jessica Coutures

We've recently had the wonderful privilege of designing a Wedding gown for the gorgeous @nikkitriantis! Having modelled for us before, (peep our star gown GINA, Fion, Asher, and a few minis...) Nikki was no stranger to the Jessica Couture brand. 

From the very start, the Gabriella gown from our Atelier Wu Ivory Reign collection was the one Nikki had her eye on: Grand, Opulent, and Dramatic.

Starting off with with a few hand drawn sketches from our JC team, Nikki brought us through the customisations she wanted which included a custom two-tiered cathedral veil, extra fabric in the skirt (an extra 3 pieces of lace in the skirt for maximum volume and skirt folds) and a slight basque waist for the ultimate princess effect. 

Putting the gown and veil together piece by piece was a true labour of love, every stitch and thread placed with intention and care. Following a very tight timeline of just over a month and a half, the team assembled the gown swiftly and diligently. No detail is overlooked, from pinning the lace in place, to checking all of the final touches. 

 

The end result? our Nikki looking like a stunning Vision. All the extra folds added in the skirt resulted in the dramatic and regal look that she was after, paired with an elegant and stylish half-up half-down hairstyle fit for royalty. Truly a JC bride! 

We're obsessed with this look and can't get enough of the lace, pearls, grandeur, and fairytale romance Nikki exudes. 

Married in a traditional Greek orthodox wedding, Nikki and her new husband Nectarios celebrated with family and loved ones in a richly decorated chapel.
